Queen City Pride
Queen City Pride is an LGBT pride festival, held annually in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.〔("Pride colours to fly high in Queen City" ). The event kicks off with a raising of the rainbow flag at the Regina City Hall on the Monday of Pride Week,〔("Backstage pass: Pride out of Prairie prejudice" ). ''Metro'', June 20, 2011.〕 and concludes with a parade and community fair on the Saturday.〔
The event was first recognised by Regina City Council in 1989.〔("Regina Pride Parade marches through the Queen City" ).
